Megan Moroney made her The Late Show With Stephen Colbert debut last night. The Georgia native delivered a stirring performance of “Break It Right Back,” a song featured on the deluxe edition of her excellent 2024 album, Am I Okay?.
Moroney swung by the Ed Sullivan Theater on Tuesday ahead of a sold-out two-night stand at famed New York City venue Radio City Music Hall that begins tonight. The critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter was “dressed to the nines” in a gorgeous gown as she performed with her band amid a candlelit set.

Megan Moroney reunited with producer Kristian Bush, who also helmed her 2022 debut album, Lucky, for her sophomore studio album. Moroney sings about love lost and an ex who built her up only to cause heartbreak on “Break It Right Back.” The song is one of three bonus tracks included on Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine), which arrived last October after the original album was released on July 12, 2024.
