Medeski Martin & Wood To Celebrate 25th Anniversary With Two Concerts

All has been quiet on the Medeski, Martin & Wood front for quite some time, but thankfully that will soon change. Drummer Billy Martin recently revealed the trio will release a new record this fall and today a pair of shows celebrating the band’s 25th anniversary have been announced.

Le Poisson Rouge in MMW’s hometown of New York City will host the 25th anniversary shows on October 19 and 20. The festivities will honor a quarter century of musical exploration. Look for special guests to be announced soon. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday, June 10 at 12 p.m. ET via the venue’s website.
