Mdou Moctar Outlines 2024 ‘Funeral For Justice’ North American Fall Tour Dates
The quartet will go from coast-to-coast in October for shows across the U.S. and Canada.

Mdou Moctar will return to North America this fall for a month-long tour. The Tuareg rockers will embark on the 21-date cross-continent run in support of their recently released Funeral For Justice album.
Mdou Moctar — lead guitarist Mdou Moctar, rhythm guitarist Ahmoudou Madassane, drummer Souleymane Ibrahim and American bassist/producer Mikey Coltun — issued Funeral For Justice on May 3 via Matador Records. The quartet is currently touring America through June 28 including a slot at Bonnaroo this Friday, June 14.

After spending the summer performing in Europe, Mdou Moctar kicks off their fall tour of North America on October 4 in Westerly, Rhode Island. The band then hits Woodstock (New York) on October 5 and Burlington (Vermont) on October 6 before heading to Canada for shows in Montreal on October 7, Ottawa on October 8 and Toronto on October 9.
The tour continues in the Midwest with concerts in Columbus (Ohio) on October 11, Grand Rapids (Michigan) on October 12, Madison (Wisconsin) on October 13, Minneapolis on October 14 and Omaha (Nebraska) on October 16. Next, Mdou Moctar heads to the mountains to perform in Englewood (Colorado) on October 17, Salt Lake City on October 18 and Boise (Idaho) on October 19. A West Coast swing featuring stops in Seattle on October 22, Portland on October 23, San Francisco on October 25, Los Angeles on October 26, Phoenix on October 28 and Albuquerque on October 29 brings the excursion to a close.
