Matt Nathanson, Switchfoot and Blue October will co-headline the Help From My Friends Summer Tour. The 30-city U.S. tour spans July 24 to September 7.
“There’s nothing better than a summer tour with your friends,” said Jon Foreman of Switchfoot. “Can’t wait to see what kind of magic/mayhem/mischief happens once we get out on the road together!”
The tour will see the trio of acts stopping in North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, New York, Florida, Arkansas, Texas, Colorado, Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Nebraska, Utah, Idaho, California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon and Washington. Each night will present a rotating order of performances with “each artist’s set complimenting the other two.”

“When three incredibly hardworking bands with such a huge timeless catalog of songs can actually get together on one stage to celebrate life together, it is an experience I don’t want to miss out on, and neither should you,” said Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October. “I can’t wait to bring all of our communities together to celebrate.”
Presale tickets for what’s being billed as a “one-time-only tour” will be available on Thursday, April 11. General public tickets go on sale starting at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, April 12.
“I’m so psyched to hit the road with the guys in Switchfoot and Blue October,” said Nathanson, “there really is nothing like traveling the country and getting to play music with, and for, your friends all summer.”
