British collective Massive Attack confirmed details of four East Coast tour dates. The October shows surround the band’s previously announced appearance at the III Points festival in Miami and will be Massive Attack’s first run of U.S. concerts in five years.
The brief jaunt starts on October 17 in Atlanta before the group heads to Miami for III Points. Massive Attack plays Washington D.C.’s The Anthem next on October 22. It’s then off to Roadrunner in Boston on October 23 ahead of the closer on October 24 at Forest Hills Stadium in New York City.

“Our new live show marks the most transgressive leap in the collaboration between 3D x United Visual Artists since 2003,” wrote Massive Attack of their current tour as pointed out by Brooklyn Vegan. “By reverse engineering algorithms to expose content anomalies & recursive feedback loops, we seek to provoke a dialogue on the broken dream of the confident, empowered individual ‘self’, in the context of the global collapse of liberal democracies.”
