The Mars Volta Announce Only US Headline Concerts Of 2024
Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala will hit Midwest cities they’ve yet to play since their return in 2022.

The Mars Volta confirmed 2024 tour dates focusing on Midwest cities the band’s Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala have yet to play since their return in 2022. The El Paso-based rockers’ five-show run with support from Teri Gender Bender gets underway in early June and will be their only U.S. headline shows of the year.
The Mars Volta made their triumphant return in September 2022 with their self-titled album. Shortly after the release, the band took the stage for the first time in 10 years in Dallas on September 22, 2022.

Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala kick off their newly announced Midwest swing on June 6 at Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines, Iowa. The rockers will then head to Madison, Wisconsin’s The Sylvee on June 8.
Next, the band will hit the Murat Theatre in Indianapolis on June 9. A concert at Omaha, Nebraska’s The Admiral Theatre goes down on June 10. The Mars Volta will wrap the headline stint on June 12 at Kemba Live! in Columbus, Ohio ahead of their previously announced slot at Bonnaroo on June 14.
Following various presales, tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 16 at 10 a.m. local time.
