Marcus Mumford visited The Late Late Show With James Corden last night to play “Grace” and sit for an interview. The Mumford & Sons frontman was backed by a full band for the performance.

“Grace” appears on Mumford’s debut solo album, (self-titled), which was released on September 17. Marcus tapped Blake Mills to produce the 10-track LP, which features collaborations with Brandi Carlile, Phoebe Bridgers, Monica Martin, Clairo and Julia Michaels.

The British musician spoke about his multiple Academy Award nominations and discussed a tattoo of the Oscar trophy on his body with host James Corden. Mumford showed off the tattoo when asked by Corden during a segment that also featured Rosie O’Donnell and Utkarsh Ambudkar.
