The Marcus King Band Plays 3 Songs For ‘Jam In The Van’ Session

The Jam In The Van video series brings artists from a wide range of genres into its solar-powered musical discovery vehicle to record performances. Recently, visited the Los Angeles HQ of Jam In The Van and three performances from the session have emerged.

Marcus King is a 20-year-old guitar phenom who has been mentored by Warren Haynes and signed to the Gov’t Mule guitarist’s Evil Teen Records imprint. King fronts a group featuring drummer Jack Ryan, bassist Stephen Campbell, horn player Justin Johnson, keyboardist Matt Jennings and saxophonist Dean Mitchell. Back in October The Marcus King Band released an eponymous studio album. TMKB’s Jam In The Van session saw them perform three songs off the record.
