The Marcus King Band Performs Live At WFUV

On October 7 Fantasy Records will issue The Marcus King Band‘s self-titled sophomore album. The group featuring the 20-year-old guitarist recently previewed two of the songs on the LP at an in-studio session for WFUV.
The 13-song album features guests Derek Trucks and the record’s producer, Gov’t Mule guitarist Warren Haynes. Along with conducting an interview, two of the songs on the record, the opening track “Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong With That” and “Rita Is Gone,” were played live at WFUV studios in New York City.
Backed by Jack Ryan on drums, Stephen Campbell on bass, Matt Jennings on keyboards, Dean Mitchell on saxophone and Justin Johnson on trumpet, watch King lead the group through the two songs in the videos below:
