Keyboardist Marco Benevento brought his band featuring bassist Karina Rykman and drummer Andy Borger to the familiar confines of Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg, New York on Thursday. The evening began with a set from Marco’s JRAD band mate Scott Metzger and his WOLF! project. Benevento, Rykman and Borger presented a performance heavy on material from 2016’s The Story Of Fred Short including “Live A Certain Life” and “Follow The Arrow.” Later in the night Marco brought out Metzger to add to “At The Show,” trading an earlier sit-in when Benevento augmented WOLF!.
