Watch Marc Maron’s Poignant Cover Of Taylor Swift’s ‘Bigger Than The Whole Sky’ At Largo

The song plays a pivotal role in the comedian’s forthcoming HBO special.

Comedian Marc Maron recently announced that he will end his WTF podcast, whose episodes typically feature his skillful guitar playing. Maron also recently began hosting musical performances at Largo in Los Angeles, where he performed a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Bigger Than The Whole Sky.”

Maron’s second HBO comedy special, Marc Maron: Panicked, will premiere on HBO and HBO Max on Friday, August 1. The comedian and podcasting pioneer has used WTF episode monologues to discuss securing the rights to use one of Taylor Swift’s songs for Panicked, explaining its pivotal role in the pending special.

Maron’s set at Largo saw him playing electric guitar while backed by bassist Dan Horne, guitarist/drummer Paige Stark, keyboardist Jerry Borgé, and guitarist Luke Paquin.

Taylor Swift recorded “Bigger Than The Whole Sky” for her 2022 album, Midnights. Largo posted video footage of Maron covering the song, which can be viewed below:
