Mandolin Livestreams This Week: Dustbowl Revival, David Shaw, Bonnie Paine, Greensky Bluegrass’ Dave Bruzza & More
Keb’ Mo’s self-titled release reached its quarter century milestone in 2019, and Keb’ has proven that he is a musical force that defies typical genre labels. Album after album, he has garnered five Grammy Awards, including his most recent 2019 release, Oklahoma.
Join Dustbowl Revival for the first of two livestream performances on Mandolin! This week the band performs Is It You, Is It Me.
To celebrate the release of his debut solo album, The Revivalists’ David Shaw heads out on a five-week musical journey taking him from the city of Chicago and his hometown of Hamilton, Ohio to the murky swamps of Louisiana.
Bonnie Paine is a founding member and songwriter of internationally touring Colorado band Elephant Revival and continues to travel far and wide to learn about music from around the world that inspires her songwriting.
Dave, or Bruzza as he’s better known, has been in love with music since he was born. With his friends, Mike Bont and Paul Hoffman, they began to learn how to play bluegrass. From open mics to parties, and in Bont’s basement in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Greensky Bluegrass was born.
