The Magpie Salute Confirm New Studio Album & Share Video Of Faces Cover

The Magpie Salute revealed they are at work recording their debut studio album. The currently untitled record will be issued later this summer through on Eagle Rock, Mascot Label Group and Sony Japan.
The Magpie Salute features former The Black Crowes members, guitarists Rich Robinson and Marc Ford and bassist Sven Pipien, alongside vocalist John Hogg, drummer Joe Magistro and guitarist Nico Bereciartua. The group recently came together at Nashville recording studio to begin tracking the upcoming album. The Magpie Salute recorded their self-titled 2017 album live in front of an audience at Applehead Recording studio in Woodstock, New York which included nine covers and one original.
“We’ve just started recording our first original music for release this summer,” Robinson said. “We can’t wait to see you out there on the road.”
