This Friday, The Magpie Salute featuring Black Crowes alums Rich Robinson, Marc Ford and Sven Pipien will release their self-titled debut album. While the 10-piece band already had a lengthy tour planned in support of the LP, The Magpie Salute has just added 20 more fall dates to the docket.
Rich, Marc and Sven are joined in the group by drummer Joe Magistro and guitarist Nico Bereciartua plus new keyboardist Michael Bellar. The Magpie Salute also features lead singer John Hogg (Hookah Brown, Moke), former Crowes singer Charity White and background singers Adrien Reju and Katrine Ottosen. On July 26, the band embarks on a North American Tour that will visit both coasts and many cities in between over the course of the summer and into late September.
The newly-added dates form a run that spans from a performance in Madison, Wisconsin on October 12 to a concert in Atlantic City on November 17. Along the way, The Magpie Salute will visit Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisana, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Connecticut ahead of a two-night stand at Irving Plaza in New York City on November 15 and 16 and the tour closer in Atlantic City on November 17.
