Maggie Rogers and Austin City Limits are both having big years with the producer/songwriter/performer releasing her acclaimed Don't Forget Me album and the live television program recently starting its historic 50th season. Rogers returns for her second ACL appearance as part of an episode with fellow gifted singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams premiering on PBS (check local listings) this Saturday, October 12 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.

Material from Don't Forget Me is showcased in Rogers’ portion of the hour. Maggie Rogers leads her stellar six-piece band through the album’s title track and additional LP highlights “So Sick Of Dreaming” and “The Kill.” The talented chanteuse also performs her 2019 hit “Love You For A Look Time” and looks to 2020’s Surrender for “Anywhere With You.”

Los Angeles native Gracie Abrams makes her Austin City Limits debut on the upcoming installment. Abrams, who was handpicked by Taylor Swift to open select dates of her Eras Tour, delivers a trio of songs from her latest album, The Secret Of Us, and throws back to her 2020 EP with a performance of “Friend.”

“Maggie Rogers and Gracie Abrams are part of a new generation of women songwriters who share their stories in powerful, intimate ways, and these stories come to life in this special hour,” explained ACL executive producer Terry Lickona. “They are both also powerful performers who take command of the stage and their audience. It’s an emotional experience for everyone.”
