Mac DeMarco released a new instrumental album, Five Easy Hot Dogs, in January consisting of 14 tracks that documented a trip the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter took across North America. DeMarco will bring the album to the live stage with a series of tour dates scheduled this summer in Los Angeles, New York City, Paris and London.
DeMarco recorded and mixed the songs on Five Easy Hot Dogs in the city from which they are titled and the tracklist was presented in chronological order from when each track was recorded. Currently available to stream and download, Five Easy Hot Dogs will be issued on vinyl this summer as well.
“Hello, Mac D here,” DeMarco said. “In July we are bringing Five Easy Hot Dogs to the stage. Should be nice, should be different, hopefully, it will be special. Hope to see you there.”
