‘Dolce Vita’: Italian Singer Ryan Paris Joins Mac DeMarco On Tour In Europe

Nine years ago, American musician Mac DeMarco appeared in a video praising Italian singer Ryan Paris’ 1983 hit “Dolce Vita,” that resulted in Paris sending DeMarco a message of gratitude. Further connections followed, and in 2023 DeMarco and Paris released the collaborative single, “Simply Paradise,” and later, “Still What I’m Looking For.”

DeMarco is in the midst of a European Tour, and several recent stops have seen Paris brought on stage for performances of “Simply Paradise” and “Dolce Vita.” The live pairings have occurred at shows in Berlin and Cologne, Germany, as well as last night in Brussels, Belgium.
