Lyrics Born & Zigaboo Modeliste To Guest At The Payback

Last month we told you about a pair of benefit concerts that will be held at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on September 26 & 27 dubbed The Payback. The concerts will feature The New Mastersounds and The Nth Power. Special guests for each show have just been announced.

Lyrics Born will host the evening on the 26th and perform with The New Mastersounds. On the 27th, original Meters drummer Zigaboo Modeliste will collaborate with The New Mastersounds for the first time.

As a refresher the concerts were put together by The New Mastersounds guitarist Eddie Roberts and Positive Legacy to raise funds for Compass Family Services, an organization that has supported San Francisco’s Vulnerable and Homeless Families for the last 100 years.

General Admission & VIP tickets for both shows are on sale now via the venue’s website (September 26 & September 27). VIP tickets include balcony seating with table service, New Mastersounds Therapy signed vinyl, a signed & numbered screen printed Tripp Prints show poster and drink tickets for Lagunitas or premium wine.
