The Lumineers shared a take on the holiday song “Deck The Halls.” First year proceeds from the track will support music industry mental health nonprofit Backline.
“Deck The Halls” follows The Lumineers’ fourth studio album, Brightside, which arrived in January 2022. Just ahead of the Brightside release, the band shared “This Is Life (Merry Christmas)” featuring fellow Colorado musician Daniel Rodriguez.

The Lumineers’ latest holiday offering is “Deck The Halls,” a traditional song which has its origins in a 16th-century Welsh melody with lyrics written by Scottish musician Thomas Oliphant in 1862. The Lumineers’ solemn take on the tune is sans Oliphant’s jovial “Fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la!” refrain.
