Lukas Nelson & Promise of The Real shared a cover of Neil Young’s “Like An Inca.” The Neil nod comes as part of POTR’s Soundcheck Songs videos series.
Young’s “Like An Inca” appears on his 1982 album, Trans. Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real are certainly familiar with the tune as they’ve been Neil’s backing band since 2015. Neil dusted off the song with POTR for the first time since 1982 in 2016, as per Sugar Mountain. The Soundcheck Songs performance sees Micah Nelson — who is a member of Neil Young & POTR — on slide guitar.
