Lukas Nelson Shares Paul Simon Cover For ‘Quarantunes Evening Session’

Lukas Nelson continues to serenade with his Quarantunes Evening Session series. This time around the guitarist and singer-songwriter offered up a cover of Paul Simon’s “The Sound Of Silence.”

The iconic “Sound Of Silence” is the title track to Simon & Garfunkel’s 1966 album and also features famously in the film, The Graduate, to which Simon & Garfunkel contributed a number of songs. Previously, Lukas Nelson has covered Simon’s “Diamonds On The Souls Of Her Shoes” as well as a hotel room version of “Homeward Bound,” a song that his father Willie Nelson has performed live with Simon. A Quarantunes Evening Session featuring Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” proceeded Lukas Nelson’s rendition of “Sound Of Silence,” which he dedicates to New York City. Watch it below:
