Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real Cover Neil Young’s ‘Harvest Moon’ On Tour Bus

Lukas Nelson & Promise of The Real celebrated the rising of the harvest moon on Friday by performing Neil Young‘s “Harvest Moon” on their tour bus. A video featuring the group’s cover has been shared on their YouTube channel.

Neil Young originally released “Harvest Moon” as the title track of his 1992 album. Lukas & POTR have performed the song a number of times over the past four years with Young as his backing band. Nelson handled lead vocals and played guitar on the version performed aboard the group’s tour bus. Multi-instrumentalist Logan Metz provided the beat by using a pair of brushes atop a plate and Corey McCormick sang harmony and added the second guitar part. Metz also sang and played harmonica.
