Singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams recently performed a live virtual session for Minnesota Public Radio station The Current. Williams played a trio of songs from her new album, Good Souls Better Angels, which was released in April.

Williams was joined remotely by The Current’s Bill DeVille. Appearing from her home in East Nashville, Williams discussed sheltering-in-place due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the tornado that severely damaged the Nashville metro area in March. Williams also talked about her new record and offered live renditions of the album tracks, “You Can’t Rule Me,” “Bad News Blues” and “Big Black Train.”
