Lockn’ Festival Adds More Collaborative Sets To 2019 Lineup

Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir will perform with iconic reggae band Steel Pulse at next weekend’s Lockn’ festival as part of a set that already included a collaboration with New Orleans brass band The Soul Rebels. The collaboration is one of the two most recent additions to the lineup for the event, which will take place at Infinity Downs & Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia August 22 – 25.
Additionally, Lester Chambers of The Chambers Brothers as well as his son Dylan Chambers will perform as part of a Moonalice set that already included a collaboration with T Sisters. Moonalice, T Sisters and the Chambers hit Lockn’ after concerts at 118 North in Wayne, Indiana on August 20 and at Gypsy Sally’s in Washington D.C. on August 21. Previously announced collaborations include Derek Trucks with the Trey Anastasio Band, Trey Anastasio with the Tedeschi Trucks Band and Susan Tedeschi and Mikaela Davis with Bob Weir & Wolf Bros.
