Hip-hop icons LL Cool J, The Roots, Queen Latifah and many others will perform at this summer’s The F.O.R.C.E. (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) Live Tour. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 28.

The Roots will serve as backing band along with DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Z-Trip. Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inductee LL Cool J, who will be embarking on his first headline arena tour in three decades, curated the lineup for the concerts which will present a rotating cast of performers.

“I’m excited to be on my first Arena tour in 30 years,” LL Cool J stated. “It’s proof that our culture is more viable than ever. Get ready for some nonstop beats and rhymes. See you this summer!”

In addition to Queen Latifah, other participants at select stops include De La Soul, Salt-N-Pepa, Rakim, Slick Rick, Common, Big Boi, MC Lyte, Method Man & Redman, Ice T, Doug E. Fresh, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Juvenile, Goodie Mob, Jadakiss and Rick Ross, among others. Each concert will be presented as a “nonstop musical mash-up with artist performances interwoven within one continuous musical set backed by The Roots.”

The F.O.R.C.E. Live Tour begins in Boston on June 25 and continues in arenas across North America, culminating in Los Angeles on September 3. A number of pre-sales preceded tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, April 28 at 10 a.m. local venue time.
