Lizzo Performs On ‘Saturday Night Live’

Lizzo made her Saturday Night Live debut on the last show of 2019 with host Eddie Murphy. The singer and rapper performed two of her hit singles and also appeared in an unaired sketch.

Lizzo delivered “Truth Hurts” for her first performance. The eight-time Grammy nominee’s band included Ghosts Of The Forest member Celisse Henderson on guitar. Celisse played a Gibson SG in honor of rock ‘n’ roll pioneer Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Lizzo offered up “Good As Hell,” appearing on her 2016 album Coconut Oil, for her final performance.

Lizzo also appeared in a taped sketch starring SNL cast member Aidy Bryant dubbed “Aidy Bizzo & Lizzo” which was unfortunately cut for time. Check out both performances and the bonus sketch below:
