Lineup Additions | Wakarusa and Purple Hatter’s Ball

Today has been a big day for festival lineup additions and there’s two more we want to tell you about. Both Wakarusa and Purple Hatter’s Ball have announced lineup additions of note.

Wakarusa organizers have revealed that Penguin Prison, Kung Fu, The Black Cadillacs, D.V.S. and Mouth have been added to the lineup along with a slew of Wakarusa Winter Classic winners. This year’s festival takes place at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, AR from June 5 to 8. Headliners include String Cheese Incident, STS9, Umphrey’s McGee, Bassnectar and The Flaming Lips. The Purple Hatter’s Ball, a non-profit event benefitting the Rachel Morningstar Hoffman foundation, also announced a batch of artist additions today. The Motet, The Floozies, The Fritz, Avis Berry & Scott Campbell Band, Yankee Slickers, Famato and Universal Green are all aboard for this year’s festival, which takes place at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL on May 9 -11. Beats Antique, Emancipator Ensemble, The Heavy Pets, The Motet and The New Mastersounds are among the other acts you can expect to see at the 2014 edition of Purple Hatter’s Ball.
