Lindsey Buckingham Announces 1st Tour Since Heart Surgery

Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham announced his first solo tour dates since undergoing open heart surgery in February 2019. Buckingham confirmed a 12-show spring tour taking place this April and May.

Buckingham’s Spring Tour 2020 begins on April 25 in Las Vegas. The guitarist then heads to Boulder, Colorado on April 28 and Kansas City on April 30. The tour continues on May 1 in St. Louis, followed by stops at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis on May 3 and in Atlanta on May 5.

Buckingham will then perform in Knoxville, Tennessee on May 6 and Huntsville, Alabama on May 7, as well as Witchita, Kansas on May 9. Buckingham plays Oklahoma City on May 10 and Tucson, Arizona on May 12. The tour concludes on May 13 in El Cajon, California. Tickets to the tour go on sale on Friday, February 14

Buckingham was fired from Fleetwood Mac last year and replaced by Mike Campbell and Neil Finn. Buckingham performed publicly for the first time following his surgery at his daughter’s high school graduation ceremony last May.
