The Lil Smokies Add 2018 Fall Headlining Dates

While Montana-based roots act The Lil Smokies will spend a good deal of the fall supporting Greensky Bluegrass, the quintet also has a handful of headlining dates in store. The Lil Smokies recently added five headlining appearances to their upcoming touring itinerary.

Frontman Andy Dunnigan, bassist Scott Parker, guitarist Matt “The Rev” Rieger, fiddler Jake Simpson banjo wiz and Matt Cornette begin their Fall Tour at High Noon in Madison, Wisconsin on September 27. Next up is likely an appearance at Boats & Bluegrass in Winona, Minnesota on September 28 (Festival organizers haven’t confirmed the daily lineups yet).

The Lil Smokies then head to Chicago for a concert at Martyr’s on September 29 before ending the month at Founders Brewing Co. in Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 30. In October, the band will headline The High Watt in Nashville on the 3rd and Pittsburgh’s Club Cafe on the 9th. The quintet’s first date supporting Greensky is set for The Clyde Theatre in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 2. GSBG also recruited The Lil Smokies to open early October visits to Asheville, Port Chester and Stratton. The Lil Smokies then open for all of Greensky’s second leg of the fall starting on Halloween in Portland, Oregon and continuing through a stop in Dallas on November 17.
