Lightning Bolt Announces Fall 2025 Tour Dates
The rock duo from Providence, Rhode Island will perform new material on the tour “in anticipation of recording a new album soon.”

Lightning Bolt announced 2025 Fall Tour dates. The band, bassist Brian Gibson and drummer/vocalist Brian Chippendale, will trek throughout the Northeast and Southeast in September and October.
Lightning Bolt are touring around the duo’s recent solo albums, Gibson’s Thrasher and Chippendale’s Terrestrial Seethings. The band has also released deluxe editions of their classic albums Oblivion Hunter, Earthly Delights, Wonderful Rainbow, Ride the Skies and Lightning Bolt.

The band’s most recent studio album, Sonic Citadel, arrived in 2019, but a press release noted that the tour will see the band performing new material “in anticipation of recording a new album soon.” Lightning Bolt will begin their fall tour on September 20 in Portland (Maine), followed by a performance in New York on September 21.
The duo then heads to Morgantown (West Virginia) for a show on September 22 and continues to Asheville (North Carolina) on September 23. The tour continues on September 25 in Memphis (Tennessee), then travels to Birmingham (Alabama) for a concert on September 26.
The tour moves to Atlanta on September 27 and then to Durham (North Carolina) on September 28. On September 29, they perform in Baltimore, followed by a show in Washington D.C. on September 30. October kicks off with a stop in Philadelphia on October 1 before wrapping up this leg of the tour on October 2 in Jersey City (New Jersey).
