Royel Otis’ Otis Pavlovic Joins Lewis Capaldi In Perth

Lewis Capaldi added a bit of local flavor to the last show of his highly anticipated tour of Australia and New Zealand on Wednesday night. Capaldi brought out Otis Pavlovic of Australian duo Royel Otis for a collaborative performance of the band’s song “Til The Morning” during the Scottish singer’s concert at RAC Arena in Perth.

“I love loads of bands in Australia, I’m a big fan of music from this part of the world,” Capaldi proclaimed in Perth after the 10th number of his 18-song performance.

“One of my favorite bands is a band called Royel Otis. They’re a great band. One of my favorite songs by Royel Otis is a song called ‘Til The Morning,’ so I texted Otis and said ‘would you come on and sing a song’ and he’s here today. Please welcome Otis!,” Lewis told the capacity crowd.

Otis Pavlovic emerged to sing the cut from the deluxe edition of Royel Otis’ 2024 debut album Pratts & Pain. Lewis Capaldi handled harmony vocals on the chorus.

Lewis Capaldi was initially set to tour Oceania in 2023. The trek was canceled in June of 2023 when Capaldi took a break from touring to “adjust to the impact of [his] Tourette’s.” Capaldi had revealed the previous September that he had been officially diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome, a neurodevelopmental disorder.

All was quiet from Capaldi through June of 2025 when he made his emotional return to the stage at the Glastonbury Festival. The Glasgow native has since released a string of singles, the EP Survive and performed across UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Lewis Capaldi will continue his comeback in 2026 with shows in the Middle East, the Americas, Europe and beyond.
