Lettuce detailed a new album, Cook, due out on December 3 through Lettuce Records. The band also shared the lead single “Gold Tooth” and tacked on a U.S. leg to their 2025/26 World Tour.
Lettuce — drummer Adam Deitch, guitarist Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff, bassist Erick “Jesus” Coomes, saxophonist Ryan “Zoid” Zoidis, trumpeter Eric “Benny” Bloom, and keyboardist/vocalist Nigel Hall — last released a studio in 2022 with Unify. More recently, the funk outfit released the live record Lettuce with the Colorado Symphony.

The new album Cook, along with the new Lettuce Red Crush/Orange Crush wines and a fitting cook book to go with the LP, usher in a new era for Lettuce, as Adam Deitch explained.
“This is the best team we’ve ever had,” he said. “We feel like the world is our oyster. Our concepts and ideas can really come to fruition now with our infrastructure. It’s beautiful to be in a headspace of feeling this fresh. It’s the start of a brand-new era for us.”
“Music and food are very related,” Deitch added. “Use the wrong ingredients in either and you can ruin the sound and the meal.”
On the new single, “Gold Tooth,” Nigel Hall said: “This is something that we’ve sat on for a minute, and I’m glad to put some ears on it finally.”
“This song is giving strong 1990s Prince & Chaka Khan vibes,” Eric “Benny” Bloom added.
