Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade Confirms 1st Tour In 20 Years
The band will reunite for their first run of shows since Summer 2003.

Following previously announced festival appearances, Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade announced their 41-date Summer Of Green Tour 2023, which marks the band’s first tour since Summer 2003.
The reunion tour begins on May 17 in Stateline, Nevada. Additional headlining dates were confirmed alongside appearances at the Summer Camp Music Festival, the Mountain Music Festival, and the Peach Music Festival.
“Let’s put it this way … I think, with Primus and without, I’ve played every music festival in the last ten years, except Lilith Fair,” Claypool stated. “You could say I’m the guy who doesn’t fit in anywhere, but a little bit everywhere.”
Among the Summer Of Green Tour dates in June is a co-headlining set with Jerry Harrison & Adrian Belew’s Remain In Light Tour. Additional support at various stops throughout the tour will come from Fishbone, Neal Francis, Budos Band, W.I.T.C.H. and Moon Duo.
The cross-country tour will make its way from the West Coast through the Midwest and East Coast before heading back through the Midwest on its way to concluding with another West Coast run. Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade’s Summer Of Green Tour is currently set to conclude on July 15 in Phoenix.
Bassist Les Claypool (Primus, Oysterhead) formed the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade in 2000. The following year the group issued a pair of live albums and in 2002 their lone studio album, Purple Onion, was released. Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade’s last public performance was held on May 10, 2003, in Orlando, Florida.
Joining Claypool on the Summer Of Green Tour 2023 will be his The Claypool Lennon Delirium bandmate Sean Ono Lennon on guitar, that group’s Paulo Baldi on drums, original Frog Brigade member Skerik on horns, Mike Dillon (who enlisted in the Brigade in 2002) on percussion and Harry Waters on keyboards. Performances will feature a complete presentation of Pink Floyd’s album Animals.
