Leon Bridges Shares ‘Beyond’ Video

Earlier this month Texas-native Leon Bridges released his sophomore album Good Thing via Columbia Records. The soul singer has shared the video for Good Thing single “Beyond.”

Leon wrote “Beyond” with Justin Tranter, Ricky Reed, Nate Mercereau and longtime collaborators Niles City Sound (Austin Jenkins and Josh Block). The love song finds Bridges transfixed on a new paramour who he feels might just be “the one.” He sings that she “might just be my everything and beyond.” Bridges tapped Josh Goleman to direct the video for “Beyond,” which was developed and creative directed by Preacher.

The “Beyond” video was filmed in El Paso, Texas using some of Leon’s real life friends. El Paso landmarks Rosa’s Cantina and H&H Carwash are just a few of the locations displayed in the clip. “Beyond” is one of ten new tracks featured on Good Thing.

Leon Bridges kicks off the main leg of an extensive North American Tour at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, North Carolina on August 27. Masego and Khruangbin open at select stops.
