Lenny Kravitz filmed a session for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert video series at his home in the Bahamas. Kravitz was joined by longtime collaborator Craig Ross and newcomer Yianni Giannakopoulos for the three-song performance.

The trio opened with “Thinking Of You,” a song Kravitz penned in honor of his mother, actress Roxie Roker, following her death. Lenny originally released “Thinking Of You” on his 1998 studio album, 5. He dedicated the performance to “all of those who are not able to be with their loved ones during this time of isolation and to those who are not able to be with their loved ones during their transitions like George Floyd, whose last words were ‘momma, momma.'”

Lenny, Craig and Yianni continued the session with “What Did I Do With My Life?” from Kravitz’s 2004 LP, Baptism. The trio — along with a drum machine and sequencer — closed out their set by performing “We Can Get It All Together,” a more recent tune originally released on 2018’s Raise Vibration.
