The Lemonheads last original collection arrived in the form of the band’s 2006 self-titled LP. The last few years have seen the renowned alt-rocker band by Dando paying homage to their classic records with 30th anniversary releases of It’s A Shame About Ray (1992) and Come on Feel the Lemonheads (1993).
It’s A Shame About Ray contained the band’s hit cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Mrs. Robinson.” The band continued their tribute ways with a pair of albums, Varshons 1 and 2, in 2009 and 2019 respectively. The LPs saw Lemonheads covering Gram Parsons, Townes Van Zandt, Leonard Cohen, Yo La Tengo, John Prine and more.
