Friday night at The Tabernacle in Atlanta was a jamgrass lover’s delight. The Tab hosted sets from Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, The Infamous Stringdusters and Leftover Salmon featuring plenty of intermingling between bands and a collaborative encore. Wisconsin’s Horseshoes & Hand Grenades opened with a performance that included a guest spot from Leftover Salmon’s Vince Herman on “High Until I Die.” Herman’s band mate Andy Thorn added banjo to Horseshoes’ cover of “Time” by Pink Floyd.

The Infamous Stringdusters took the stage next and rolled through a mix of career-spanning originals and choice covers. Drew Emmitt of Leftover Salmon led the group through “Down In The Hollow” at one point of a set that also included a raucous “Dancing In The Street.” The Dusters’ Jeremy Garrett returned the favor during Salmon’s performance. The evening came to a close with all three bands teaming with Rev. Jeff Mosier for bluegrass staples “Little Georgia Rose” and “Working On A Building.” Photographer Ian Rawn was on hand to capture the action:
