Watch Leftover Salmon Cover Soundgarden In Seattle

LoS performed “Black Hole Sun” in the hometown of the acclaimed grunge group.

Leftover Salmon’s recent concert in Seattle featured a nod to hometown grunge favorites Soundgarden. The jamgrass outfit covered Soundgarden’s grunge classic “Black Hole Sun” last Saturday, February 12 at The Neptune.

Saturday’s concert began with an opening set by the Kitchen Dwellers, who will join LoS for more shows this week. Leftover Salmon’s set at The Neptune saw the band bring aboard Captain Keith Colburn from the television series Deadliest Catch to sit-in on harmonica.

Soundgarden released “Black Hole Sun,” which was written by late frontman Chris Cornell, on their massively popular 1994 album, Superunknown. Watch Leftover Salmon cover Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” in Seattle below:
