Leftover Salmon | New Member Bill Payne & Nashville Webcast
By Scott Bernstein Sep 16, 2014 • 1:35 pm PDT

Leftover Salmon kicked off Monday night’s show with two songs set to be released on Black Friday, November 28, on the new album, High Country. Herman made the announcement of Payne’s status with the band just before a performance of the title track. LoS then set about performing The Nashville Sessions in its entirety with help from their guests. The evening came to a close with a jam session that included a take on “Fixin’ To Die” with John Bell of Widespread Panic, Col. Bruce Hampton and Sam Bush as well as covers of ZZ Top’s “Jesus Just Left Chicago” and a fitting finale of Little Feat’s “Willin'” that included most of the night’s performers.
We’ll get to watch all of last night’s show this evening starting at 8 p.m. CT thanks to a webcast that can be viewed at LeftoverSalmon.com.
Watch Vince Herman announce Bill Payne as the newest member of Leftover Salmon before the band’s performance of “High Country” at last night’s show:
