Colorado jamgrass pioneers Leftover Salmon are still going strong over 25 years after forming. The band will ring in 2017 and celebrate the end of 2016 with a three-show New Year’s Run at the end of December.
Leftover Salmon’s New Year’s plans start with a pair of shows at Crystal Bay Casino in Crystal Bay, Nevada on December 28 and 29. The band will be joined by Bay Area favorites each night as Tea Leaf Green opens on the 28th and The Mother Hips open on the 29th. Then, LoS heads to The Depot in Salt Lake City for three sets on New Year’s Eve.
All three shows come after the band performs at the inaugural Deep Roots Mountain Revival in Masontown, West Virginia on Saturday following shows in Louisville on Thursday and Columbus, Ohio on Friday. LoS is also slated to appear at Suwannee Roots Revival and Strings & Sol this fall and have a two-night stand in Denver scheduled for Thanksgiving Weekend.
Fan club tickets for the New Year’s Run go on sale this Wednesday, September 14 with the general on sale to follow Friday, September 16.
