By Scott Bernstein Feb 21, 2017 11:11 am PST

Each Tuesday night, starting this evening, pioneering jamgrass act Leftover Salmon will present a weekly audio stream – The Leftover Salmon Show – via their website and Mixlr channel. The Leftover Salmon Show will air between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. MT featuring a selection of live sets and songs hand picked by LoS archivist Chris Mrachek.

Each installment is expected to bring listeners the best of Salmon, past and present. Those listening will have a chance to ask questions and chat with Mrachek each week. Look for special guests to join the chat in future episodes including members of the band and its crew. The first installment, set to air tonight (February 21), will feature a compilation of tracks recorded between 1997 – 2000 and showcases a mix of classic Leftover Salmon jams alongside rarely played songs. Next week’s episode will contain LoS’s May 30, 1999 set from the Majestic in Detroit, while the March 7th installment will include music from Salmon’s first show in Alaska and the March 14th installment will feature tunes LoS played in Missoula on August 27, 2011.
