LCD Soundsystem Unveils New Single ‘tonite’

On September 1 LCD Soundsystem will issue American Dream, the group’s first studio album since 2010. James Murphy & Co. had previously released two tracks from the LP and today unveiled a video for a third single, “tonite.”

LCD Soundsystem premiered the live version of “tonite” at Brooklyn Steel in New York City on April 6 and it has been a staple of their sets since. Those who pre-order American Dream will receive instant downloads of “tonite” as well as previously released singles “american dream” and “call the police.” An official video for “tonite” was directed by Joel Kefali and shot in Melbourne, Australia.
