The Last Waltz Nashville Announces 2019 Lineup Including Robbie Robertson

The Last Waltz Nashville: An All-Star Celebration Of The Band’s Historic Farewell Concert will feature a rare appearance by The Band guitarist Robbie Robertson. Bridgestone Arena in Nashville will host the event, which comes at the end of a tour celebrating The Band’s legendary concert, on Saturday, November 23.
Darius Rucker, Michael McDonald, Emmylou Harris and Vince Gill are also among those set to perform at the tribute to The Band’s Thanksgiving 1976 farewell. Nathaniel Rateliff, Warren Haynes, Jamey Johnson, Lukas Nelson, Margo Price, Don Was, John Medeski, Cyril Neville, Dave Malone, Bob Margolin, Terence Higgins and Mark Mullins & The Levee Horns round out the lineup.

Organizers Blackbird Presents announced that a portion of proceeds from the concerts will go to charitable organizations Farm Aid and Thistle Farms. In addition, Blackbird Presents will put together a donation drive to help Second Harvest “whose mission is to feed hungry people and work to solve hunger issues in Middle Tennessee.”
