Langhorne Slim Performs For ‘Live On KEXP At Home’
Singer-songwriter Langhorne Slim (Sean Scolnick) recently performed five songs and spoke with host John Richards for the Live On KEXP At Home series. The Seattle independent radio station shared video featuring the performances and interview.
Langhorne Slim’s Live On KEXP At Home session was recorded on March 23, 2021. Scolnick appeared from his bedroom in Nashville and discussed the horrific tornados that destroyed parts of the city just before the pandemic began. The singer-songwriter also talked about the challenge of staying sober during the pandemic.
The first song Langhorne Slim played was “Panic Attack,” a song that deals with anxiety. Langhorne Slim released “Panic Attack” on his 2021 album, Strawberry Mansion. Next up was “Long Journey Home” before Scolnick returned to Strawberry Mansion for “Red Bird” and “House On Fire.” Langhorne Slim ended the performance part of his Live On KEXP At Home with the unreleased song “Everything Scares Me.”
The second portion of Langhorne Slim’s chat with John Richards follows the performances. Langhorne Slim and John Richards discuss the importance of pets, trying to put down their phones and spend time meditating instead, being nervous about returning to “normality” and more.
