Lake Street Dive Debuts Steely Dan Cover

Late last month, Lake Street Dive unveiled a cover of “Dirty Work” by Steely Dan. Lake Street Dive’s version of “Dirty Work” showcases the band’s newest member, Akie Bermiss.

Steely Dan released “Dirty Work” on their 1972 album, Can’t Buy A Thrill. Lake Street Dive debuted the cover at Summerfest in Milwaukee on June 30. The quintet has gone on to perform the tune at a number of concerts since including a stop in Bonner Springs, Kansas on July 3 and during their set opening for The Avett Brothers at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on Sunday night.
