La Luz Full Performance Live On KEXP

Seattle-based surf-noir quartet La Luz recently issued their well-received sophomore LP, Weirdo Shrine, via Hardly Art. A few weeks ago the band stopped by local independent radio station KEXP to record a live, in-studio session – video of which has been posted. Guitarist Shana Cleveland, keyboardist Alice Sandahl, drummer Marian Li Pino and bassist Lena Simon didn’t have to go far for their Live on KEXP session taped on August 6. The foursome played four songs from the Ty Segall-produced Weirdo Shrine, including live takes on “Sleep Till They Die,” “With Davey,” “You Disappear” and “Don’t Wanna Be Anywhere.”
