There’s both good news and bad news from The String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth. Kyle recently broke his wrist and yesterday revealed that while he’ll be able to make the trip with SCI to the inaugural Los Muertos con Queso later this month, he has canceled a pair of Kyle Hollingsworth Band performances.

The KHB was set to play the Barkley Ballroom in Frisco, Colorado on January 20 and Crested Butte’s Crested Butte Center For The Arts on January 21. Hollingsworth has been advised by his doctor to rest his wrist so has pulled out of the Colorado shows with his solo band. Colorado’s own Cycles will still perform a free concert in Frisco on the 20th.

Kyle and The String Cheese Incident will perform six sets at Los Muertos con Queso in Riviera Maya, Mexico between January 25 – 28. The destination event also will feature six sets from Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir with Dave Schools, Jeff Chimenti and Tom Hamilton as well as performances from the Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Jackie Greene.
