Kurt Vile & The Violators Announce 2018 Summer Tour

Philadelphia-based guitarist Kurt Vile will reunite The Violators this summer for their first North American tour dates in over a year. Vile, multi-instrumentalist Rob Laasko, drummer Kyle Spence and multi-instrumentalist Jesse Trbovich have added a series of headlining shows to their previously announced appearances at Mountain Jam and Forecastle.
Kurt Vile & The Violators kick off the tour at the Metropolitan Theatre in Morgantown, West Virginia on June 13. From there, the quartet plays Lancaster, New Haven and Jersey City on the way to Mountain Jam. Vile and his band return to the road for a July run that starts on the 10th in Charlottesville. The foursome then brings the run to Carrboro and Asheville ahead of their set at Louisville’s Forecastle Music & Arts Festival. Finally, Kurt Vile & The Violators end the short tour with visits to Knoxville on July 15 and Charlotte on July 17.
