Kofi Burbridge Documentary ‘Lest We Forget’ Coming In May

The 32-minute documentary Lest We Forget: Kofi Burbridge will be available for streaming on May 1. Oteil Burbridge, Derek Trucks, Victor Wooten and Jimmy Herring are among the musicians interviewed for the feature on Kofi Burbridge, a talented multi-instrumentalist who died at age 57 on February 15, 2019 following complications surrounding treatment for an ongoing cardiac issue.

Kofi Burbridge spent the last chapter of his life as a founding member of the Tedeschi Trucks Band. The Washington D.C.-bred musician also had stints in the Derek Trucks Band and Aquarium Rescue Unit. Lest We Forget: Kofi Burbridge is part of a series of features produced by Ace Entertainment. Nigel Hall, Tim Lefebvre, Adam Nitti, Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff, Susan Tedeschi, Roy Vogt and Regi Wooten also sat for interviews included in the documentary.
