Kitchen Dwellers announced a new album, Muir Maid, due out on November 8. The bluegrass four-piece also shared the album’s lead single, “Covered Bridges.” To produce the new record, Kitchen Dwellers enlisted the help of The Infamous Stringdusters banjo player Chris Pandolfi.

“Chris Pandolfi was our ideal producer and we were lucky enough to have him interested in the project,” the band said in a statement. “He brought a level of excitement and helped us lay down something that we feel represents the energy and power of our live shows. Just by hanging out with a musician like Chris, you absorb what he says and how he approaches songs, and all of a sudden you’re a better musician for it.”

The band also spoke about the subject matter on the new album, “Muir Maid is the product of spending the last few years on the road honing in our sound. There are tales of adventure, personal growth, and commentary on what it’s like to live life on the road.”
